Since when did spirituality become fashion? Am I the only one who finds OM tattoos and Jesus bumper stickers in poor taste? (Deep breath) Well, I guess it’s not so bad: better to sport something that reminds me to be compassionate, awake and present than not. (Deep breath) It’s actually kinda inspiring if you think about it: spirituality is infusing Capitalism. One of te best examples: Bali Malas. Like the Western rosary, malas’ 108 beads ar used to count how many times you recite a sacred mantra. Or, you can wear one of the many lovely styles and just look enlightened.
